Equipment Lease Versus Purchase
Course
Presented by: Alex Meyer
Course Summary
Every practice uses multiple pieces of equipment, from copiers and computers to lab equipment and testing machines. Choosing whether the practice should purchase or lease each piece of equipment can have profound effects on the practice’s overall expenses.
In this course, we will take a look at the differences between buying and leasing equipment for your practice. We’ll define what it means to purchase or lease equipment. We’ll explore some of the reasons why you would choose to lease or choose to buy your equipment and we’ll talk about how to make that decision. We’ll wrap up with an example to illustrate the decision-making process and leave you with a few resources that you can look at for more details.
