A practice’s corporate structure is more than just its tax election. It defines how the partners’ compensation is distributed and taxed. It forms the foundation of how the partners relate to each other and their practice. Choosing the right structure for your practice is vital to building a practice that can succeed over the long-term.

In this course, you will learn about the different options that a practice may choose for their corporate structure, some of the pros and cons of each structure, and what each election means for the partners income and taxation.

Alex Meyer is an experienced small business manager and consultant. Having run small businesses and consulted with numerous small business owners, Alex understands the unique challenges that face small-business owners and leaders who must wear multiple hats to keep their business afloat. As a member of PCC’s Pediatric Solutions Team, he works with independent pediatric practices to fine-tune their business practices so that they can focus on patient care.
